CT Head Interpretation for Medical Students

Introduction

After completing this module you should be able to :

Identify the basic anatomical structures seen on a CT Head Scan

Have a system for reviewing a CT Head Scan

Describe and recognise four simple diagnoses :

                         Subdural and Extradural Haematomas

                         Subarchnoid and other types of haemorrhage

                         Ischaemia and Infarction

                         Tumours
